We are part of the Program in Cell Cycle and Cancer Biology. CCCB includes five laboratories all focused on aspects of chromosome behavior in meiosis or mitosis, including DNA replication control, chromosome segregation mechanisms, recombination and DNA damage repair, sister chromatid cohesion, and spindle and kinetochore interactions. We use a variety of model systems including yeast, zebrafish, mammalian cell culture, Xenopus egg extracts, and mice. Our group is interactive and collaborative. We meet once a week for Program wide research presentations and also have an annual retreat.
